The International Child Development Program (ICDP) was developed in Norway in the middle of the 20th century, and since then has been successfully applied in different cultures and countries, both in prosperous and in problematic ones. The program allows adults (mainly parents and guardians, but not only) to establish communication with children, learn to understand their role in these relationships and act as efficiently and non-traumatically as possible, saving the nerves, strength and health of both themselves and the child.
