Your Own Inner Cat — The Practice of Self-Support
Reconnecting with your body, your emotions, and your gentle power.

Your Own Inner Cat is a psychoeducational and experiential program designed to help participants restore self-connection, emotional balance, and self-compassion through embodied awareness.
Rooted in Adlerian psychology, self-compassion theory (Neff, 2003), and body-oriented approaches to emotional regulation, the program provides a safe framework for exploring self-care as an active, sustainable practice — not an occasional luxury.

The course integrates principles of trauma-informed facilitation, mindfulness, and positive psychology to help participants recognize internalized pressure, perfectionism, and exhaustion.
Through reflective dialogue, guided imagery, and gentle movement, participants learn to listen to their body’s signals, to transform inner criticism into warmth, and to establish daily rituals that nurture stability and joy.

Methodologically, the program follows Gagné’s Nine Events of Instruction and Bloom’s taxonomy to ensure a structured progression from awareness to integration. Each session combines cognitive understanding with experiential learning, offering space for rest, playfulness, and creative self-expression.

Intended for adults experiencing emotional fatigue or striving to rebuild balance, Your Own Inner Cat cultivates resilience through kindness. It teaches that emotional strength is not the absence of vulnerability — it is the ability to meet oneself with curiosity, warmth, and care.
